After an extended hiatus, winter comes roaring back to the greater Wilson area this week, Albert Thomas Jr. explains in the latest installment of The Wilson Times Weathercast brought to you by NCWheels.com.
A cold front expected Tuesday will bring a midweek cooldown, with Wednesday's high of 51 degrees followed by daytime highs around 40 degrees Thursday through Saturday. Expect overnight low temperatures in the 20s, with Thursday's low between 22 and 25 degrees.
Snow is expected in the Piedmont region on Saturday, with most forecast models showing the eastern boundary between Greensboro and Chapel Hill. Listen to the Weathercast to learn about a lone European model that suggests Wilson could see a few flakes this weekend after all.
