Instead of a sleigh, Santa had a convoy of muscle cars. And blue lights on Nash County Sheriff’s Office cruisers took the place of Rudolph’s red nose.

Nash County deputies held their third annual Sheriff’s Christmas celebration on Dec. 24, delivering presents to six families in need of yuletide cheer. Members of the Royal Stallions Mustang Club assisted sheriff’s office employees along with friends, families and neighbors in making the Christmas Eve deliveries.

Capt. David Brake helped organize the event. The sheriff’s office recognized the following sponsors who helped make the Sheriff’s Christmas possible.
