NASHVILLE — Sheriff’s deputies arrested two men and seized drugs, cash and a motorcycle stolen from Wilson County during a Friday night raid on a Nash County home.

The Nash County Sheriff’s Office’s narcotics unit and patrol deputies executed a search warrant on a home at 7229 Cedar Grove School Loop Road north of Nashville at 8 p.m. Friday.

Deputies found 7 ½ grams of crack cocaine, hydrocodone and Xanax pills, a small amount of marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia and about $8,200 in cash along with the stolen Yamaha motorcycle, Chief Deputy Brandon Medina said in a news release.

William Vincent Arrington, 31, was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

Medina said Arrington is on probation for a possession of a firearm by a felon conviction in Nash County. Arrington was jailed under a $25,000 secured bond.

Clarence Lamont Cooper, 32, was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, simple possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued a $5,000 secured bond.

Both men are scheduled to make their first appearance in Nash County District Court on Tuesday.
