Authorities are searching for a Raleigh woman reported missing in southern Nash County.

Sarah Denise Patterson, 51, was last seen Thursday in the 4200 block of Biltmore Lane east of Spring Hope, Chief Deputy Brandon Medina of the Nash County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday.

A family member reported Patterson missing Monday night after she didn’t report for work Saturday or Sunday, Medina said. Patterson lives on Pinewilds Drive in Raleigh.

Patterson is described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall and about 180 pounds with brown eyes and short brown hair. She is known to wear prescription eyeglasses and was last seen driving her 2010 Honda Accord sedan with North Carolina license plate FBK-8456.

Nash County deputies had shared Patterson’s description with law enforcement agencies in surrounding counties and were following up on leads in her disappearance Tuesday afternoon.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Nash County Sheriff’s Office at 252-459-1510 or Crime Stoppers at 252-977-1111.
