NASHVILLE — Nashville United Methodist Church, 209 E. Washington St., will hold vacation Bible school for 3-year-olds through rising sixth graders from 5:45-8 p.m. Sunday, July 14 through Wednesday, July 17. Registration for volunteers and children is available online at www.nashvilleumc.net or by calling 252-459-7178.

Women’s book club to meet

NASHVILLE — The Nashville United Methodist Church women’s book club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7 to discuss “Becoming Mrs. Lewis: The Improbable Love Story of Joy Davidman and C.S. Lewis” by Patti Callahan.

Members and visitors will meet at the 209 E. Washington St. church. Child care will be provided.

Copies of the book are available on Amazon.com for $15 and are available by request through the church office.

Meal program seeks volunteers

SPRING HOPE — Nash County Home-Delivered Meals is seeking program volunteers. Organizers say the time commitment is minimal. For more information, call Wendy Perry at 252-459-1367.
